New Gloucester Fire and Rescue Explorer Program

The Explorer Program is part of the "Learning For Life" program from the Boy Scouts of America. Participants, girls & boys ages 14-21 years old, may join. It is a feeder program for our junior firefighters of ages 16 & 17.

Explorers get to experience some of the aspects of firefighting and emergency medical technicians (EMT) but are not allowed to wear air packs or participate in trainings that involve live fires, etc., without supervision.

We are always looking for interested youths to replace those who are moving up to the Junior program. For more info about joining contact Chief Sacco.
