Poster Contest
Theme "It Doesn't Hurt to be Safe" Using any art medium, on 12x18 poster board(available at the Fire Station if needed), do your best interpretation of how to be safe riding your bike. open to grade levels K-1st grade, 2-3rd grade, and 4-5th grade. Prizes are a brand new bike in each category, and art to be on display at town office, library and fire station. Deadline Friday, May 11, 2007 @4pm. All posters to be handed in to the Fire Station (located behind town office) during regular business hours. Winners will be announced at the Bike Safety Day Saturday, May 19, 2007.

As of January 1, 2005, Burning Permits will be issued, as weather permits from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturdays and Sundays at the Lower Fire Station and NOT at the Transfer Station anymore. Permits will also be issued at Lower Station on weekdays, as usual, weather permitting. The number is 926-4142.
